NILE Hospitality Signs Seventh Hampton by Hilton, Marking Its Entry Into the Mumbai Market

NILE Hospitality has signed its seventh Hampton by Hilton property under its development agreement with Hilton, marking the company’s first signed hotel in the Mumbai metropolitan region. The upcoming Hampton by Hilton, Navi Mumbai Airport will be positioned close to Navi Mumbai International Airport, placing it within reach of the growing passenger traffic, expanding commercial corridors, and rising business and leisure travel demand associated with the area.

The property is planned as a 90-key hotel under the Hampton by Hilton flag, an upper-midscale brand built around consistent, dependable stays for both business and leisure travellers. The signing extends NILE Hospitality‘s role in bringing the brand deeper into the Indian market under its wider licensing arrangement with Hilton, which covers the development of 75 Hampton by Hilton hotels across the country.

A Deliberate Move Into the Mumbai Metropolitan Region

Entering Mumbai adds a distinct market to NILE Hospitality’s existing footprint, which has so far concentrated on other regions across the country. The Navi Mumbai location was selected for its proximity to the international airport and the surrounding infrastructure development, both of which are expected to support steady occupancy from air travellers and the commercial activity building up around the airport corridor.

NILE Hospitality’s Founder and CEO, Vikram Singh Chauhan, framed the signing as a natural extension of the company’s strategy of pairing globally recognised brands with markets that show clear, sustained demand, describing Mumbai’s airport-adjacent commercial growth as the kind of opportunity the company has built its Hampton by Hilton pipeline around.

Hampton by Hilton’s Continued Expansion in India

Hampton by Hilton operates more than 3,100 hotels and over 357,000 rooms across 46 countries worldwide, and its expansion into India’s upper-midscale segment has moved forward steadily through NILE Hospitality’s development pipeline. With this signing, seven Hampton by Hilton properties are now in various stages of development under the partnership, part of the broader 75-hotel agreement between the two companies.

For NILE Hospitality, the Hampton by Hilton pipeline sits alongside a wider portfolio that spans hotels operating and under development across a large share of India’s states, built through partnerships with six global hospitality companies: Marriott International, Hilton, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotel Group, Accor, and Hyatt.
